Sunrun has bad reviews so when you set an appointment you going to have homeowners cancelling once they read them.

Hermit, miss interaction with coworkers. Hired as a construction planner and told I was overqualified since I’m a lic journeyman electrician. Position outsourced overseas. Told to learn design or you get let go. Learned design, outsourced that position overseas also. Told I need to learn Auto CAD for post cap tasks or be let go. No really trying for auto cad. Just 1 shadow session and then you are asked to attempt to complete a post cap task on your own and only ask questions and no shadowing. Been here since 8/24/2020 and been looking for a job on and off for a year. My new manager of 4 months told me nobody likes working here. Those were the first words he ever spoke to me.

Terrible onboarding experience, no help from other managers/mentors. No communication when it comes to higher ups. They based their decision of my employment based on training.

Fire people left and right. You can make money but it feel like no one or no position is safe. Even management agrees that there is no guarantee that you will have a job at any given moment

Poor management with no help after training period. Although,I got a record 3 appointments on my first day, my second week was right after July 4th when thenstore was deserted for two weeks. I didnt get my 10 appointments so I was terminated although the store was deserted and nobody tried to view or improve my performance.

Health care and you get your steps in.
Cons
It’s a performance based job that does not set you up for success. Everyone already has solar or rents. The expectation of 2 quality appointments a day is unattainable. They put a lot of pressure on you with no support. There’s a reason the turnover rate is so high.

Horrible reputation on installations. Poor management to the point of allegedly stealing Rep’s commissions, letting them go so the manager can collect their unpaid commissions for himself or herself.
