They have stock options, PTO, vacation days, and an 80/20% Healthcare plan for Primary, Dental, Vision.
Cons
Don't get too comfortable, just because of how the industry is overall — nothing against Verizon. They incur the same organizational changes as the rest of the industry. It feels as though it can last forever, but "budget" changes things quickly, especially for contract workers; so keep the resume polished.

Worked on OnPrem version of Data Warehouse initially and moved to Cloud version in order to solve the challengesfaced on OnPrem Servers, Leveraged power of Server less Azure Services, which in turn used Apache Spark andApache Superset. Implemented Data Factory Pipelines to load data from OnPrem SQL Server to Azure Data Lake Storage in the form ofcomma separated value format and further loaded this data into Azure MS SQL. Implemented Data Vault schema to store data in the form of Hub, Satellite and Link in order to support scalabilityand ease of adding new tables and attributes

EXTREMELY angry At Verizon. I interviewed with the hiring manager, the associate director, and director, The interviews were long and went well. She told me she wanted me for this position. We discussed training and helping her to mentor the team members. All of the interviews happened every two days. She had the HR rep call me to discuss salary and get ready for background check. Then all of a sudden , they had me holding on for 7 weeks then send a rejection letter at midnight. What happened?
Job is great and flexible. pay is great.
