You can make money but it’s tough

Pros
Freedom to do what you want as long as you complete your daily tasks of sending emails and calls and selling atleast 8 cars a month. If you are good you can get a finance position pretty quickly.
Cons
The way the dealer operates, they recon a lot of cars that don’t need that much money so when the sales associate sells the car you are more than likely making a mini on the deal.
Management just cares about themselves

You will never be able to succeed at AutoNation with the Management team trying to fight every day! Finance and Sales never got along.

No pros, bunch of people who could care less about the little guys.

They work you like a dog, will screw you on your pay any chance they get, will push you out if they don’t like even though you are more than compete at your job, you can’t complain to HR otherwise they will retaliate towards you, will put you on endless amounts of pips.

I was hired with a group of 15 people with another 15 people starting two weeks latter and another group of 20 hired two months latter. Actual training was sitting with another employee and learning the script.
Cons
I never felt like I had the proper information to do my job. When I asked to address issues I was they were ignored by upper management.
