They went in another direction

08/02/2026 - Longwood, FL

Pros

Supportive team culture — Strong camaraderie among operational staff, especially long‑time auction veterans.Low toxicity compared to other auctions — Many of the negative behaviors common in the industry were absent due to the dealership‑style structure.Manageable pace — A more laid‑back environment than larger auctions, with fewer high‑pressure dealer confrontations.Good people in operations — Mechanics, CR writers, detailers, and drivers formed a reliable, cohesive group.Better than most Central Florida lots — Despite its quirks, the overall experience was more positive than at other auctions in the region.

Cons

Outdated operational practices — Several processes lag behind industry standards and remained unchanged for years.Corporate rigidity — Heavy‑handed oversight prevented meaningful improvements or modernization.Leadership mismatch — New management imported big‑auction methods that didn’t fit the size or culture of the facility.Cultural decline after leadership turnover — Morale dropped significantly after the ops manager left and the GM retired.Lack of recognition — Contributions, including bringing in strong new hires, were not acknowledged by management.Clique‑based dynamics — As the culture shifted, certain employees became favored while others felt increasingly sidelined.Safety issues tolerated for years — Practices that would never be allowed at other auctions were strangely overlooked for a long time. To his credit, the new ops manager worked diligently to eliminate many of these unsafe behaviors.

Supportive team but poor management and no growth

07/29/2026 - Fort Lauderdale, FL

Pros

Nice team and ok vehicle benefits.

Cons

The upper management was terrible, and there was a restructuring every other quarter. If you weren’t getting promoted, you were getting more work. Senior leadership and vice presidents only cared about their longevity and staying in their positions, rather than improving processes and onboarding experiences. Pay increases were denied multiple times, not based on performance, while the business was booming. They also made it harder to achieve bonuses, created unattainable goals, and there’s no such thing as career growth here.

Poor management and leadership at this dealership

07/28/2026 - Valencia, CA

Pros

nothing at all good about working at this dealership. The GM, The GSM and the desking managers are the worst I have ever worked with. No Leadership skills and no management skills.

Cons

Worst GM I have ever worked for. Not one manager at this dealership has leadership abilities or management abilities. They are absolutely clueless. They wait until the last possible minute to let employees know what they need to end the quarter in terms of surveys and reviews. They lie so easily its disturbing.

Toxic environment with uncaring management and poor training

07/26/2026 - Buena Park, CA

Pros

None whatsoever. The company gives bare minimum benefits

Cons

Hostile work enviroment. Management and HR that doesnt care. Poor training and trainers that dont care about you.

Office politics overshadow productivity and improvement

07/21/2026 - Fort Lauderdale, FL

None that I can think of

A lot of politics in day to day. People working to look busy instead of improving the business.

Unfortunately, not family oriented, and has gotten worse over the years…

07/15/2026 - Sanford, FL

Pros

Cons

Unfortunately I’ve dealt with harassment, religious discrimination, and just blatant disrespect on a daily basis. I look forward to leaving.

Great Team work

07/12/2026 - Miami, FL

Pros

Great company to work for, Great team, more than a team felt like family.

Cons

Long hours, Low work/life balance. Senior Management could improve a little

Paycheck only, with poor management and blame culture

07/10/2026 - Smiths Station, AL
