goPuff Reviews

work is easy, everything else is bad.

10/16/2025 - null

Pros

The work itself is easy and teaches you the basics of working in a warehouse. If you are lucky enough to have good co-workers, it makes the job easy.

Cons

The pay is the same across the board, regardless of whether you work day shift or overnight, and it's barely enough to get by. The upper management is shady and lacks communication with the OAs. No room for growth at all. People come in like a revolving door, and it's always understaffed.

Ok

10/29/2025 - Newcastle upon Tyne, England

Pros

I guess okay: remote environment, flexible

Cons

Management can get bit toxic

Zero hours and minimum wage

10/15/2025 - London, England

Pros

Flexible (sometimes), fully remote job

Cons

Zero hours contract, you are expected to be available 24/7 with shifts starting at 5am one day and doing a night shift two days later. Although you are on zero hours contract only 3 people are allowed to be off at any time which is unfair considering that some staff take two months off at once. Very annoying and rude customers that keep lying about damaged items on live chats. Very strict about kpi's without looking at performance as a whole

Can be ok or bad

Pros

Create your own schedule, challenge yourselfDepending on your market you may have a very easy job

Cons

0 work like balance, must cover gaps from callouts. You may work multiple weeks strait with no days off, 60-80 hours per week with no additional payNear 0 training at all levels, company has no money to invest in infrastructure/staff.Bonus never get paid.

Pros

Has potential, needs new CEO'S to take the company to the next level

01/04/2026 - null

Pros

Supportive Regional manager for sites

Cons

Lack of Accountability (Passing the Buck): Decision-making often lacks ownership, resulting in frustration and confusion when problems arise—issues are shifted rather than addressed. Unrealistic Expectations with Reduced Labor Budget: Increased performance expectations paired with significant cuts to labor budgets leave teams stretched thin and unable to meet demands effectively.High Turnover Among Operational Associates: The combination of workload pressure and no up-word movement leads to frequent employee departures at the associate level.Burnout Among Site Leaders: Site leaders are overwhelmed by the demands of managing intense workloads with insufficient staffing and appropriate labor hours support, has led to burnout and diminished morale.Insufficient Support Structures: There is a noticeable gap between what is expected of employees and the support (training, tools, manpower) provided to help them succeed.Reactive Rather Than Strategic Planning: Operational strategy often feels short-sighted, with decisions made on the fly rather than through proactive, long-term planning.

Cons

Worst Company & Greedy Owners

01/20/2026 - null

Pros

There aren’t a whole lot of pros. My coworkers and I embrace the suck together.

Cons

1. Absolutely no raises. Been with the company multiples years. Not 1 company based pay increase. Expect minimum wage forever. But they will ensure they tell you they made millions in sales during a quarter. 2. They give discounts and incentives, then take them away. Employees used to get 50% off caffeinated drinks- they took it away. We also used to get 40% off all GoPuff orders, they reduced it to 25%. Our “reward” system is a “snackolade” where you can “buy” a pack of crayola markers for 1500 points. Laughable. 3. They have ordered all items to go in the trash. Employees can take nothing. Our holiday gift sets, for example, come with cups, coasters, a little extra gift- we are told to destroy and throw them away. All food items- expired or not- pulled off the shelf within so many days and thrown away. No donation system. When there was an egg shortage-and eggs were $15 a dozen- we were ordered to throw away 50+ dozen eggs b/c they were almost to the sell by date. 4. Always coming out with systems that don’t actually work. They have people who have actually never done the job themselves coming up with all these stupid systems and rules but have no idea that it isn’t helpful and definitely doesn’t translate well. You can tell regional managers and store managers but they just go along to be along because they make close to, if not 6 figures a year to tell you that all orders have to go in GoPuff bags, brown paper bags, that rip constantly... 12 bottles of wine- use bags, can’t go in a box- company policy.5. Constantly cutting payroll, which results in little to no actual paycheck and short staffed shifts. Last week I worked 8 hours.. made a whopping $135. 6. The turn over is insane! Don’t like a manager or coworker- don’t worry, they will quit soon. They’d rather hire outside the company for assistant and store managers and spend thousands training people who will just leave, then to promote within- and then if they do hire within- you have to be a favorite or they will find something stupid to fire you for. … the list goes on-
