At a time, the pro was the rental discount but after less then 2 years they announced they are taking away the 40% discount and going back to a 20% with client approval and a lot of other caveats making it almost unusable

Horrible company culture, bottom level employees (even the CM or Supervisor, especially the maintenance techs and leasing agents), will falsely promise bonuses, promotions etc..

I love working for Greystar because they are consistently seeking the feedback of employees to ensure the culture is positively changing with the workforce. Comprehensive and impressive benefits package. There's a lot of support and resources available.

I don't like that the corporate team members don't have any discount for living onsite but it's a huge perk of working as an onsite team member.

Favoritism runs rampant. If anyone from upper management doesn’t like you or you’re not in their clique they make your job a nightmare. Onboarding is non exclusive, illegal procedures are encouraged by certain regional managers. HR is useless if you report employees underperforming or showing up to work under the influence entering occupied apartments. Tenant lawsuits are an everyday occurrence. Policies and the new Tenant Protection Ordinance is ignored. No support from upper management. Be aware of retaliation if you report anything that stops the cash flow. Upper management is involved in transactions that are conflict of interest and they look the other way. Salaried employees often work 12 + hours and no paid additionally because they are “salaried.”
