It's a job if you're desperate
Cons
Variable shifts that start anywhere from 4:00 am to 1:00pm. You work every weekend and every and holiday. Never get two days off in a row and they can schedule 8 or 9 days in row when they're short staffed. The work is very strenuous and laborious too. Doesn't matter if your exhausted from their unethical scheduling practices or the constant interruptions from customers. Make sure you do things fast and accurately or you will be reprimanded.

Very great hard working employees that are there who helped to make your shift and work environment good as well support each other. That is the ONLY thing that made it good. Fast paced, never a same work day. Decent starting pay and good health benefits.

Upper management and store manager especially doesn’t listen, makes it hard for you to do your job. Poor upper management by the store manager. Lack of leadership, does not like to listen, no work life balance, rush job who only cares to get bonuses. No matter how hard you work you won’t be valued or appreciated at all. Scheduling conflict.

Good hourly pay with bonus opportunities, friendly associates and management staff, fun environment.
Cons
Erratic schedule. Open 363 days a year, Monday thru Sunday. Some short weeks, some long weeks. Days shifts and night shifts with no real consistency from week to week.
Management is stuck between a rock and a hard place.

- The theft was jaw-dropping. Couldn't do a thing about it, other than submit a bs report to the powers that be- The work hours - I hated missing big fights and football games.- Very busy, so I was always on my feet, which I didn't mind- Employees who just didn't care - supervisors who were doped up on drugs- Being exposed to people I wouldn't have normally been exposed to ;-)
