Goals were set without regard to what a location could realistically achieve [add one example, e.g., a target that ignored staffing or patient volume].•Regional management micromanaged day-to-day decisions, with frequent check-ins and second-guessing of local teams.•Expectations shifted mid-period, so it was hard to know what success looked like.•Schedule and hours changed with little notice.•Feedback focused on numbers, not on the obstacles teams faced.•Morale suffered because effort didn't seem to be recognized when targets were missed.

Supportive coworkers but unrealistic expectations and low pay

Coworkers were supportive and they provide training to entry level or anyone willing to learn to start in dentistry.
Cons
Compensation did not reflect the workload or stress involved. Production and performance expectations were consistently unrealistic, and the pressure to hit them created a high-stress environment. Career advancement felt disconnected from actual performance — opportunities for growth seemed to depend more on personal relationships with supervisors than merit or results. The company culture leaned heavily into a "rah-rah" corporate energy, with mandatory rallies/events that felt more like manufactured enthusiasm than genuine team building. Unless you are a doctor, you don't get paid what you are worth.

They push metrics based on production/collections certain amount of specific procedures each money veiled as "monthly team goals" that clearly influence providers being unethical and over-diagnosing to meet these goals.
They will fire you if you try to report abusive practices

They don’t back up their employees when they need to. They let other employees verbally abuse the techs. If you try to stand up for yourself, they fire you without warning. They let their current employees harass former employees on social media and they don’t do anything. It may be a remote position but your own home will feel like a virtual prison cell

Communication could be a lot better between some supervisors and their teams. A little favoritism is seen. Company started hiring out of country. Pay is very low. Benefits are expensive. Company does not match 401K.
