Pros
Massage Envy will book their clients ALWAYS! They match clients to therapists quite well. I never received clients that I couldn't satisfy, very much unlike LaVida & other spas.
Cons
a little chaotic at times, but LOTS of fun energy with the diversity of the staff and clientele. It is a fun team to work with!!!

Cons
The sandy plains center purposely misconstrues the pay structure and underpays their employees. Make sure you're being compensated properly especially on slow days and don't let anyone belittle you.

It's nice to not have to worry about bookings. Good place to start out, but wouldn't recommend staying for very long.
Cons
It's all about getting your clients in and out as quickly as possible. The pay isn't the best for the amount of work they want you to do.

Free 60 minute session each month.
Cons
Schedules released less than a week in advance. The commission is almost unattainable. Under paid. Under staffed. Over worked. They never give FDAs or Assistant Managers full time. If you have to work OT they adjust your schedule to remove those extra hours later in your schedule.

Cons
Too much work, not enough pay, toxic environment. Managers write you up for the smallest infraction and you get treated unfairly based on sales performance. They threaten your job if you aren't making enough membership sales. Also pay is low not worth it for all the work you have to do.

We had a free massage every month.
Cons
I never got my paychecks when they were due, which sounds and is illegal. They also fire you without giving you any notice or reasoning for it (they stopped responding to me and never received a schedule). Lastly, when it was time to file taxes, I had to reach out to them to get it; they didn't send it through mail they sent it to my email, which is unprofessional. Overall, it is not a welcoming environment, glad I do not work there anymore.
