The culture between front staff and massage therapists was challenging, with the front staff facing the brunt of it from both the public and the varied and demanding personalities of the therapists (not all - some of them were great.) Not sustainable for me

Employees have owners stealing commissions and credit card tips. Hostile work environment, harassment from owners and their wives. Management demanding you make up hours while you fight for your life through a botched life saving emergency surgery. Management lying to employees. Owners encouraging workplace harassment among service providers

I never had to handle my own books or worry about doing taxes, I was also always booked with my regular clients due to my years of experience.
Cons
It was hard to have time off. They did not have a good system for taking time off when sick or even taking paid vacation. You were often punished monetarily for taking time off.

Controlling, abusive, non-communicative. They basically expect you to be a slave. The culture is terrible. It’s all about shame, power and control there. They don’t train well. They expect a lot without being clear.
