Vacation sick and personal leave is above average for a food service management position. Some franchises offer 401k, health insurance, and other packages and some don't. You get a sense of satisfaction by leading the new workforce generations into a quality workmanship.
Cons
Minimum expected work hours are 50+Fast food is a revolving door and even if hundreds of hours are spent building and growing a solid team turnover in this industry is high and so your constantly training and building new employees.

Pros:Free food up to $8 at my location at the time (2023)Most coworkers were really fun to be aroundFun to make drinks, hand out drive thru orders, and pack delivery orders.I liked the job, I just hated the disrespect and corporate greed.

Cons:Greedy companyThe time goal was 2 mins 35 seconds per car. We were always short staffed and I was constantly being harassed to be faster. I was expected to do the job of 3 people at once. (Drive thru headset and window, front counter, and delivery orders.)I was expected to ask customers to double meat, double or add sour cream, and make the item spicy on every item they ordered, then ask if they want a drink. Coworkers cheated by charging customers double price for add-ons without their knowledge.

It is an extremely easy job to learn and get used to. There are a lot of good people who work there who are easy to get along with.

At my location, it was quite difficult to move up in management. The current managers had plans for people who had been working there for years already, there was no chance for new hires to get promoted.

Managers and supervisors micromanage and do not listen to staff about inquiries. Open from 6 am to very late and could be placed to close or open every day.
