- So many talent people that genuinely care about what they do - Competitive pay and benefits- Tries to do what's best for both employees and customers

- Culture has changed from customer first to shareholder first- You have no voice and no power unless you work in New Jersey- You are expected to work 24/7 and every little thing becomes a fire drill- While there are good leaders at Verizon, many who remain lack the courage to speak up when it matters most. - Constant employee surveys are exhausting

It is a steady income, and the benefits are pretty good. There are a lot of good and decent people in the company so usually you will work with a good team. 6% match on 401k
Cons
They just do not care about employees in the united states below a certain level. They are moving jobs abroad (mine was moved to Ireland) They really don't do anything for morale unless it is going to go on the front page of their internal news letter. It used to be a good company, and it was even better before I started working there. Now, I do not think I would even apply.
