Celebrating 25 Years with Aspen Dental – A Truly Rewarding Journey

04/24/2025 - Greece, NY

Pros

Reflecting on the past 25 years with Aspen Dental fills me with pride, gratitude, and a deep sense of fulfillment. Being part of this organization for over two decades has been more than just a career—it’s been a calling. As an Operations Manager, I’ve had the privilege of helping thousands of patients receive the dental care they need. That experience has been incredibly rewarding on both a personal and professional level. When I started my journey, Aspen Dental had around 25–30 locations. Today, we’ve grown to over 1,000 locations nationwide—a testament to our shared mission and the impact we’ve made. Aspen’s commitment to accessible care, whether by helping patients overcome financial barriers or providing treatment when they need it most, is what makes this place truly unique. In my role, I’ve always viewed myself as the heart of the office, helping ensure everything runs like a well-oiled machine. But above all, patient satisfaction remains my highest priority. Watching patients leave our offices smiling and confident is why I do what I do.Like any long-term relationship, the journey has had its ups and downs. But through every challenge, one thing has remained constant—leadership that truly cares. Our CEO has always made a point to keep us informed and engaged, even during the tough times. That kind of transparency and support is rare and invaluable.Over the years, I’ve met some truly incredible people who have inspired and taught me so much. In fact, my experience was so meaningful that I recruited my sister, who has now been with Aspen Dental for six years as an Operations Manager herself. That says a lot about the kind of culture we have here—it's more than just a workplace; it's a family. The benefits, growth opportunities, and work-life balance are all reasons to stay, but what truly keeps me here is the people—especially my owner doctor, who is one of the most compassionate and respected individuals I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. His passion for patient care and leadership resonates throughout our region.I can say without hesitation: I can’t see myself working anywhere else. Aspen Dental has been my home for 25 years, and I look forward to continuing this amazing journey for years to come.

Cons

Not being able to help 100% of our patients for reasons beyond our control.

Pros

I didn't have any pros

Hygienist have to see 2-3 new patients to probe while having a hygiene patient in the chair. Hygiene appointments are typically 1 hour, leaving 2-3 to see new patients does not allow enough time to provide quality care to the patient in the hygiene chair!
