Pros

The practice owner was great and colleagues were great as well. Work load was stressful at times, with long hours of standing with little to no breaks. No doctor’s office to sit and put patient notes. Overall not a bad experience since everyone at the office worked hard and got along well.

Cons

High staff turnover Long work hours No doctor office

Corporate dental care with in house lab

01/26/2025 - Saint Paul, MN

Pros

They try and implement the lastest technology.

Cons

Not a lot of support at least in the minnesota region. Very money hungry company.

Mediocre job

01/25/2025 - null

Pros

Offices within the region support one another

Cons

Car sales man with dental work. Pressuring patients into saying yes. Goal is 3k per patient min.

Terrible Work Model

01/26/2025 - Mississippi State, MS

Pros

Pay is great, room for growth in company, full benefits, multiple locations to transfer to if you move.

Cons

You are burning out your employees. The new patient column is ridiculous. There should only be one first off. You want your hygienist clean, perio chart, scan, xray, go over oral care, LAA, sell pts on whitening and clear aligners all within 1 hrs . AND STILL have time to see 1-2 new pta who need perio charting, explain the type of cleaning they need, answer all questions, form a good repor with them, and explain why they need all add on services, all withing 10 mins?! Get real! Not to mention have time to clean and turn over rooms and restock supplies! Also, your call center promises same day care to new pts instead if telling them it's not guaranteed, making them mad at us if we can't. All the constant trainings and online meetings and Teams messages are annoying. You hate when we work overtime, and yet you set meetings for our lunch hour, and you extended Saturdays to 8-3pm with no lunch AND want to add extra Saturdays to a few months. Make it make sense. But higher management wants to make us feel like we don't care about pts if we bring up that that was not in the work agreement when we took the job. And sending rankings of how much money every hygienist is bringing in is just shameful. We don't all have the same demographics! It's pathetic

Turn and Run

01/24/2025 - null

Pros

Bathroom breaks, if you can get a chance, without getting bullied.

Cons

Too many to list. Just don’t. Don’t lower your standards enough to work there. It’s toxic!

Horrible management

01/22/2025 - Austin, TX

Pros

Incentives/ bonuses for hitting above goal

Cons

Everything including pay, hours, workload, and management

Used to be better

01/19/2025 - Chicago, IL

Pros

The offices are very nice. Some colleagues are genuinely great to work with and foster a collaborative spirit. The tech stack is surprisingly modern, offering opportunities to learn from talented individuals in Ent UI and Platform Engineering.

Cons

There is an overwhelming amount of office politics, which creates a toxic atmosphere. Many managers lack the necessary skills and direction to lead effectively, and recent changes in tech management have been disappointing, relying on outdated approaches reminiscent of the early 2010s. Management has been dishonest with employees, prioritizing easy-to-manage staff over truly skilled engineers, which has alienated talented developers and team leads. This has resulted in a significant exodus of top talent. Additionally, the mandatory 4 days in-office policy feels rigid and contributes to employee dissatisfaction.

Unorganized & Poor Leadership

01/19/2025 - Wichita Falls, TX

Pros

Not a lot of oversight, freedom to come and go as you please

Cons

Poor leadership and direction for career development

01/06/2025 - Chicago, IL

Pros

2 1/2 day weekend, good company culture, great training

Cons

Long hours, burnout, accountability on all levels is non existent

Constant stress

01/09/2025 - Hartford, CT

Pros

No pros. This is a terrible company to work for

Cons

If you want to be worked to death then aspen dental is the place for you. Upper management lies. Lower management lies. You will not get bonuses promised. Or a raise ever. They will treat you badly every single day and you are supposed to suck it up and deal with it. My health declined dramatically working in this environment. They don't care at all about the patients.

Good company

Cons

Good company, good bonuses for us
