03/27/2025 - Waltham, MA

Pros

The connectRN team is mission-driven and do what they can to support nurses in every way they can!

Cons

The staffing environment is very volatile these days... requires a lot of changes in approach to successfully execute on a daily basis.

Toxic culture

03/22/2025 - Boston, MA

Pros

Fully Remote so I could work from anywhere.401k fully vestedunlimited PTOs

Cons

This company once had great potential, but that changed after the CEO hired new executive leaderships, including a CTO who mirrored his management style. Unfortunately, these executives demonstrated a lack of leadership skills and failed to foster a healthy work environment.Employee contributions, no matter how significant, are overlooked. The day they decide you're no longer needed, your access is cut immediately, leaving no opportunity to say goodbye to colleagues. You simply receive an impersonal email from the CEO stating that your position has been eliminated. The culture became toxic, characterized by yelling, dysfunction, and poor team dynamics. I cannot recommend this company to anyone seeking stability or professional growth. The CEO himself stated that most employees only last 2–3 years—an unfortunate reality, as many talented individuals were let go without recognition of their value.

Great Team, Disappointing Leadership

03/25/2025 - null

Pros

- Worked alongside talented, supportive coworkers who made day-to-day work enjoyable- Competitive salary and solid benefits- Fully remote work provided flexibility

Cons

- Limited Career Growth: Despite positive feedback and performing above role expectations, promotions and raises were rare or nonexistent. This severely diminished motivation and long-term commitment.- Constant Layoff Uncertainty: During my tenure, there were three major layoffs with seemingly arbitrary selection criteria, creating a sense of instability.- Disconnect Between Leadership and Engineers: Engineers and managers often aligned on decisions, only to be overruled by higher-ups with little to no explanation. With an already lean engineering team, this top-down approach felt counterproductive.

Layoffs galore!

02/09/2025 - null

Pros

Most of the people below the executive are great to work with

Cons

The CEO suuuuuuuuucks. They love laying people off while they’re on medical or parental leave.
