Title: Poor onboarding, inadequate resources, and disappointing managementI was hired as a Key Technician and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience with Dent Wizard. I came into the position with automotive locksmith experience and expected there to be a reasonable onboarding process, appropriate tools, and support while learning the company’s specific procedures.Instead, I encountered several operational issues almost immediately. My assigned work vehicle had equipment problems that initially prevented me from working normally. Once those issues were addressed, I encountered additional obstacles involving access to information and resources needed to complete certain vehicles. I repeatedly attempted to determine the proper process for obtaining the information I needed, but getting timely answers was difficult.There were also tools provided to me that were noticeably worn, which made learning and performing certain techniques more difficult. When work was unavailable or I encountered vehicles I could not complete with the resources available to me, there was often very little productive work for me to perform.I was employed for less than two weeks before being terminated for performance-related reasons. My separation paperwork criticized my productivity, proficiency with certain tools, requests for assistance, and initiative. From my perspective, this was particularly frustrating because I was still extremely new to the position and several of the difficulties affecting my productivity were issues I had actively been trying to resolve.I recognize that I had areas where I could improve and that every employer has performance expectations. However, I do not believe I was given a reasonable amount of time, training, or functional support to develop in the role before those concerns resulted in termination.My advice to prospective technicians would be to clarify during the hiring process exactly what skills you are expected to possess on day one, what training will actually be provided, what resources you will have access to, and how productivity expectations are handled during the first several weeks. My experience did not match the level of support and opportunity for development that I expected when accepting the position.

Overpromising with no delivery. Pay was supposed to be between 70k to 100k and it's nowhere close. Too many managers. 15% charge for supplies on your gross invoice income.

They are losing customers so fast that the need to restructure their entire management structure. The pushed Mike Black out as CEO. They are putting mangers who failed in one division in charge of other division's that they have no knowledge of…can’t wait to how that works out for them.
