Pros
Get to drive some cool cars and have fun with it in a way. Learn how they repaint them.
Cons
Some days be unbearably slow. Depending on the management its either theyre nice to you or they dont like seeing you do nothing. Can't be on your phone at all.

Get to work by yourself and use cool tools of the trade.

Doesn't pay well, micromanagement, amount of workload doesn't match the pay rate, employee favoritism, won't consider rehiring if you weren't "one of the boys", management is clueless and inexperienced, no management support, only care about $$$,

Create your own schedule, some what be responsible for your own success.
Cons
Being responsible for your own income comes at a cost. The company provides essentially zero support and a crumbling infrastructure. If you don’t have what you need to perform your duties it’s on you to get it yourself, although the agreement is that company provides it. If there’s no work, you don’t get paid and the company will not provide you any.

Plenty of opportunity and freedom to get creative with sales and management strategy.
Cons
Pay is capped significantly and can make it difficult to get by if you don't hit your "bonuses". Metrics are set to a degree that can be unrealistic to meet, demanding significant growth each year just to make what you made the year prior.

Technicians will help you more than management.
Cons
Area managers are old technicians and do not understand leadership. I've seen seen others go moths without having supplies to replenish. Others have been pulled from accounts because of managerial neglect. Sales team is non-existant so all the routes are already locked in. No forward movement.

Perhaps being out in the elements a lot but not an issue if you'd prefer not to sit in a cubicle.
