Floor & Decor Reviews

Okay pay, but overworked without appreciation

08/28/2026 - null

Pros

Okay pay and benefits quickly

Cons

Over worked without much appreciation

Competitive tile prices overshadowed by poor management issues

08/23/2026 - null

Pros

The prices of tile are very competitive.

Cons

Management. The CME at this store is not qualified. She picks and chooses who to target, will not support those employees who go above and beyond to do their job. Training is an issue because there really isn't any. It's sad when you are lied directly to your face and can't defend yourself for fear of retaliation. And it does happen. Hours are not divided equally. Slackers get away with doing the least amount of work, creating a very negative atmosphere and yet, management either won't do anything to correct the problems. Work is very physical, new hires don't stay a week creating double work for the rest and yet, nothing is done to make the work load any better. Hours will be cut because the store is not making its goals and it is making employees nervous once again.

AVOID

08/02/2026 - Atlanta, GA

Pros

- The people, excluding management- security guys in the lobby— best people ever!

Cons

- management doesn’t get trained on how to manage personalities- most managers are smug and unprofessional - one must snivel and brown nose in order to be promoted OR be the last one standing on the team- can’t be promoted until someone leaves the position empty- always understaffed because the turnover rate is high but team members are expected to do the job without additional pay, until vacant spot is backfilled… if ever- back to management- the way these people speak to others that are not in the same position or higher is astonishing- lack of official training materials. Some people have so much to do that no one is willing to train you so you start off behind and have to play catch up

Get A Paycheck and Go Home

Not a Place I'd Recommend

07/13/2026 - North Charleston, SC

Pros

I honestly couldn't identify any significant benefits to working there. The only positive was some of the coworkers I had the opportunity to work alongside.

Cons

Working at floor and decor had exposed me to one of the most toxic work environments I have personally experienced. The company expects a tremendous amount from its managers and associates, often with little support, unrealistic expectations, and constant pressure to do more with less. Many employees genuinely care about their teams and work incredibly hard, but the culture can make it difficult to feel valued or supported. Communication from upper leadership frequently felt disconnected from the realities stores face on a daily basis. One of the hardest parts was watching talented, hardworking people become burned out, overwhelmed, and emotionally drained while still trying to keep stores running smoothly. Instead of building people up, the environment often felt driven by fear, favoritism, and unrealistic metrics rather than teamwork and development. There were good people I worked alongside, and I am grateful for the relationships I built. However, no job should leave employees feeling constantly stressed, unsupported, or disposable. A company succeeds when it invests in its people, listens to concerns, and creates a culture of respect and accountability at every level — and unfortunately that was not my experience here.

Flexible scheduling overshadowed by favoritism and scrutiny

07/12/2026 - District Heights, MD

Pros

They work with your schedule if they want to

Cons

Favoritism is a big thing thereUnprofessionalIf you’re not one of the favorites, they will scrutinize everything you do.No career opportunities
