Pros
Co-workers are often very nice, and management is nice.Systems are typically easy to learn, and training is constant.Management does seem to care about the health of others in a majority of cases.
Cons
You need have a higher tolerances to a lot of things if you work here, as is typical for retail: You DO need to have a decent team, and able to take stress well.Horrible Coworkers rarely get retaliation nor talked to unless it affects the store's sales. I would not recommend working here if you struggle with long hours nor have any sort of disorders that can make it harder for you unless you can figure it out with management.Corporate needs to have better communication as well.
Great colleagues, but poor management and zero balance

Zero work life balance, favoritism is a real problem, promoting people with zero experience just because you like them does not work for the “team” when the rest of the team has to pick up their slack, no accountability at all.

Management. The CME at this store is not qualified. She picks and chooses who to target, will not support those employees who go above and beyond to do their job. Training is an issue because there really isn't any. It's sad when you are lied directly to your face and can't defend yourself for fear of retaliation. And it does happen. Hours are not divided equally. Slackers get away with doing the least amount of work, creating a very negative atmosphere and yet, management either won't do anything to correct the problems. Work is very physical, new hires don't stay a week creating double work for the rest and yet, nothing is done to make the work load any better. Hours will be cut because the store is not making its goals and it is making employees nervous once again.

- The people, excluding management- security guys in the lobby— best people ever!
Cons
- management doesn’t get trained on how to manage personalities- most managers are smug and unprofessional - one must snivel and brown nose in order to be promoted OR be the last one standing on the team- can’t be promoted until someone leaves the position empty- always understaffed because the turnover rate is high but team members are expected to do the job without additional pay, until vacant spot is backfilled… if ever- back to management- the way these people speak to others that are not in the same position or higher is astonishing- lack of official training materials. Some people have so much to do that no one is willing to train you so you start off behind and have to play catch up
