FPI Management Reviews

Decent company

04/29/2025 - Waco, TX

Pros

The company was great, they worked with my schedule for my kids.

Cons

Manager I had was garbage. She was rude and expected me to know the job with very little training

Fun

03/23/2025 - Reno, NV

Pros

Monthly bonus, from $40-$150 usually, pretty fun, our bosses like to celebrate milestones getting things done and show alot of appreciation, everyone is really respectful and overall I just really like working here.

Cons

Sometimes other employees will get better treatment than others, generally from a kissing, there's alot of "cant do" attitude from guys who have been here awhile, they would rather make the new guy feel stupid for asking questions or claim the company doesn't pay them to train people instead of just showing someone the ropes and being happy about it. To be fair with our new supervisor this has gotten much better.

Don’t Bother Trying to Move Up

02/05/2025 - Seattle, WA

Pros

People at FPI will not be deliberately rude to you. They’re not evil. It’s also an incredibly well organized company. There is a procedure for everything.

Cons

When they post a community director or area manager opening, they already know exactly whom they’re going to hire. They won’t even bother to call anyone else. After I applied for 5 lateral moves and never received a response, I complained to the Senior Director, who confirmed my suspicions and promised that it wouldn’t happen again. Well it did happen again, a further 9 times. There is an established culture that permits this.Plus the pay is below average and the benefits are awful.Maybe these things have improved since I left, but I doubt it.

Cons

Avoid it

02/13/2025 - Reno, NV

Pros

Benefits are good but not enough to outweigh a bad boss.

Cons

They have no real onboarding process to train new people.

Not Good

02/06/2025 - Vacaville, CA

Pros

The benefits offered are not bad

Cons

Terrible! For being such a large company they are so unorganized. Doing a simple task is overly complicated because nobody knows what proper procedure is. Need help? Well, good luck because HR is the worst, they don't even know what they are doing and are rude to everyone - if the HR/Benefits people hate their jobs so much then they should quit. Also they are weirdly religious it felt like it was pushed down your throat. Oh and the whole accounting department is related which is against policy and causes major issues when you have a problem with your accountant. So you go to HR, few days later the rudest HR person will reach out to you. They will treat you like a huge inconvenience and nothing will get solved.
