03/13/2025 - Dallas, TX
Pros
Introduced me to the tech industry.
Cons
They didn't care about their employees and thought that swag was a way to make employees happy. I will never support a company that tells us to "just drink the koolaide". Very toxic work environment.
Leadership has gone downhill
03/17/2025 - New York, NY
Pros
- Some golden employees who are absolutely amazing- Had autonomy around my growth early in my career- WFH
Cons
- Senior leadership steals ideas and presents them as their own taking opportunity for exposure and growth away- Senior leadership does not understand what teams do and talk down to team members/lower management or blame them for company issues- Promotions are impossible- Constant Layoffs

Pros

Cons

Downhill Trajectory Due to Poor [New] Leadership
12/15/2024 - New York, NY
Pros
Great flexibility in when and how you do your work (remote first culture and zero micro management). I've also had some of the best managers here who cared about my career growth and general well-being. Anyone who worked at Nomad early on is lucky as it was a really great company with a lot of pros at the time, and had a lot of potential success.
Cons
Multiple mass layoffs in a single year, no transparency from senior leadership, insecure business vision and team alignment, salary freeze, no 401k match, etc.
Worth the Experience

Cons

What once was a great place to work.
07/12/2024 - New York, NY
Pros
- This company remained fully remote unless you desire to go into the office. - Good work life balance.- Genuine coworkers.
Cons
- Nomad will drop you in a heartbeat. There is not even an illusion of safety.- The senior management do not listen to those at the bottom level and continue to make things harder and increase the workload beyond what is possible because they laid off approximately 70-80% of the company.
Simply Awful
07/15/2024 - New York, NY
Pros
Good culture, people, decent insurance, and remote work.
Cons
Low pay, awful manager who did not care about my growth, micromanaged, and chose favorites. Felt entirely discriminated against and never championed. Company is a sinking ship and I truly should have left way earlier than I did.
