Pros

Cons

Smoke and mirrors

01/16/2026 - New York, NY

Pros

Allowing work from home, providing all equipment and internet is probably the biggest pro.Flexible work schedule is a plus

Cons

For a health insurance company, they offer employees terrible insurance coverage. Yearly raises are almost nonexistent at 1-2.5%, if you’re lucky to get a raise, and salaries don’t keep up with cost of living. They offer weeks of training on the basics, but once you’re doing the job training is rare for new material. Questions are usually answered with “read the steps, you’ll get through it”.The company 401k contribution decreased from 4.5 to 3.5%If there is a system issue, and trust me it could be an hour or more before you realize that a system logged you off, you are expected to make up the time the system was down. Paid holidays are limited. They talk a lot about work/life balance, but it can be difficult to take time due to scheduling.
