Sutter Health Reviews

Strong team and benefits, but budget restrictions impact culture

04/25/2026 - Roseville, CA

Pros

Great team, good benefits, decent/competitive pay (not as high as Kaiser), union protection

Cons

SRMC as a whole very strict with budget. Lots of new and unexperienced nurses in most departments. Culture is better in some ways with newer generation but pride in work doesn’t seem to be as important for a lot of newer staff.

Supportive culture fosters growth, but lacks benefits

04/21/2026 - null

Pros

Excellent Culture; encourages growth and speaking up with opinions and ideas. Non-punitive.

Cons

No maternity/paternity leave program. No bonuses, only Sutter branded rewards. Dated software. Minimal job-specific training.

Great culture at risk from overburdened staff

04/24/2026 - null

Pros

Great company culture and vision.

Cons

Managers/Supervisors are given more and more work without pay or support. I worry that Sutter is pivoting away from the great company culture to focus on the bottom line and overburden their dedicated staff.

Great employees at Hospitals.

04/30/2026 - Sacramento, CA

Pros

Great coworkers and hardworking individuals in the hospitals and sites.

Cons

KPI's seem important in regards to refreshes and rollouts, and quality suffers as a result. If you look under a table, you're going to see either a cable mess or too tight cables.

Cliquey and closet racism with the sonography team.
