The pros are that they’ll give anybody a job

The cons, zero to no support and huge expectation. Every time they get sold, they cut the budget over and over again reduce staffing, but want more numbers after over a decade here I have only seen this place get worse and worse.

Met some amazing people that made working there fun

OG assistants are lazy and they do not like to clean or work. Walk away from duties to color in the front desk while office was running busy and always short. Only certain assistants worked hard. So when you ran into lazy ones when traveling you already hated the day. Nobody is there to check up on assistants. The OGs just do what they want. Really causing burnout for assistants.

Pay raises were a couple cents to non-existent and Covid-19 upended all the prior departmental expectations.

WDS is a good place to start your career (get experience and move on). Will hire with little to no experience and train.
Cons
Employees are an afterthought. Expected to push through understaffed with little to no recognition. Leadership expects lower management to pick up their slack.

There really aren’t any. If you doctor isn’t working neither are you you are expected to use any PTO you’ve accumulated and then that has to e approved. The staff is always and undestaffed, overworked & underpayed. Corporate only cares about how many new patients start and the corporate staff if the only one that reaps the benefits of the staffs hard work. There are no bonuses , lunches or appreciation parties. The only ones that get bonues are the sales and managers, nothing is considered for the staff that’s doing all the work.
