Strong patient centered mission and meaningful work. Team members are committed to patient care and often go above expectations to support coverage. Home health offers the opportunity to work independently and make a real impact in patients’ lives. Coworkers are supportive and dedicated, and many clinicians genuinely care about maintaining high standards of care.
Cons
Recent management changes have introduced increased micromanagement and reduced scheduling flexibility. Clinicians are expected to maintain strict availability despite working a visit-based model, which creates confusion around work life balance. Restrictions on communication and PTO expectations can feel rigid compared to the autonomy traditionally associated with home health. Some clinicians feel their professional judgment is questioned more than supported, which affects morale.

Rushed through onboarding. Full training was available, but not allowed the time to actually utilize the training before given more and more patients. Ignored repeated requests to be given time to watching training videos before being assigned patients far beyond the skill level trained for. Pointless to have the training videos if no given the time to actually watch them before be thrown into the field.

Management lacks respect for employees. Never felt valued in this position. Input to improve patient care is not welcome. Unrealistic expectations. Very high patient loads limit the ability to provide appropriate patient care.
