Amedisys Reviews

Registered Nurse

10/23/2025 - Rosedale, MD

Pros

Flexibility, some work from home

Cons

Poor work/life balance, profit driven

Toxic work environment/Leanne Lott

10/19/2025 - Baton Rouge, LA

Pros

Pay is okay. Position is remote.

Cons

Over 80 to 90% of staff turnover rate since Leanne Lott came aboard, she changed protocols with unrealistic expectations, staff feels intimidated and bullied by leadership, Afraid to speak up or ask questions. There is noone to file grievances too as they are all in a circle tied together. Company has gone to complete shambles and their mission statement and company values are of false intent. Majority of all staff have left or been terminated within this past year of changes to leadership occurring. Company is cutting expenses. Benefits suck. Work 42.5 hrs a week and only paid for 40. Leadership very dysfunctional. Treats and talks to staff members inappropriately. So many valuable nurses have been with this company for years both in and out of the field in various positions have lost their jobs due to this sick and inhumane leadership. Would never recommend as an advocate for patients/families or healthcare workers to join this company. Its all about greed. Majority of employees turnedover are salaried and majority hired are prn. Notice the FT jobs let go are not being replaced as much.

started great, slowly started hating it

09/05/2025 - null

Pros

decent pay even without any medical degrees, though not many career opportunities without onemost of the care center staff really do care about the patients and each other, which makes for a decent work environment. "most"great benefits and 401k

Cons

corporate only cares about numbers and money, no matter how many times they say it's all about the patientshalf of my time off requests were denied because "only one person was allowed to be off", though we had help all over the country every single day with the position i was working in, which lead to major burnout. i had to work on several important family occasions such as my sister's graduation, visiting family for births and other life events, and even just regular mental health days. it was easier to just call out than to give notice you wanted to be off.basically whatever management says, goes, and if you think something is wrong and you want to have a discussion about it, they would just keep repeating "this is the process" or "this is how it's been for so and so long"
