I hurt myself, on the job, and filed for workman's comp. My manager wouldn't communicate with me after I got hurt. Amedisys ended my contract, and they didn't even tell me that they had ended my contract...I had to get that info from my recruiter. I took another job with a different branch, a few months later. They fired me half-way through my contract, zero notice, zero feedback before my termination other than positive feedback. I filed for unemployment insurance, and UI found that Amedisys couldn't provide justification for my termination.
