The residents are the only good thing about working at Brookdale.
Cons
All that matters is money. In 2022 they had a 10-15% rate increase on their seniors. They charge and hold leadership to high move in numbers with sub-par facilities. We charge the same as meridian and atria but the facilities are small and outdated. Resident’s are not most important to company leadership regardless of their lip service. The local community leaders are drowning trying to keep residents happy and move ins flowing and working 60+ hours a week to be told it’s not good enough.
