Cintas Reviews

Fine

09/07/2024 - Virginia Beach, VA

Pros

Pay is competitive in relation to the field.

Cons

Cons are relative to what you least enjoy about jobs.

Micromanaging

09/27/2024 - Birmingham, AL

Pros

*Well known company*Weekly pay

Cons

There is entirely too much micro management

Don’t Get Oversold On the Job!

09/13/2024 - Branford, CT

Pros

General support if you have a tenured sales team, culture would be a pro, compared to most bureaucratic companies. They do like to keep their employees and keep turnover down.Sales training better than most companies Definitely the best in the industry vs competitors despite how ugly this industry is.Health benefits are solid as well as commission / bonus incentives. (Taxed at 40%)Great first job and logo to have on your resume, great job if you can see through the Koolaid and have a HUMAN manager that understands you have a life.

Cons

-Low base pay -Commissions easily adjustable if you aren’t pin point accurate with communication for the install team or SSR’s. Then service blames you and your manager.-Non streamline sale to installation process. Old school paper work and micro tasks in between making changes and scheduling an Install. You want a sales job with autonomy, this isn’t it. Be expected to be in the office 2 days a week (or 3 if you don’t sell enough)… locked into the prehistoric depressing office cubicles for phone block. Depending on your manager you can NOT leave until you get your amount of appointments. If you don’t prove yourself, despite what Culture Koolaid they feed, you will be looked at differently, similar to a cult. If you’re in a high performing market, north east for example. The culture is an anxiety inducing double edged sword. Standards are way higher than other areas so despite your efforts and results it’s all relative compared to, president club reps, diamond club reps, captains, etc.

Fun but Hard Work

09/03/2024 - Philadelphia, PA

Pros

I loved my team and the culture at Cintas. I couldn't have asked for a better first time sales job to teach me how to sell. I learned how to work hard, and truly left understand the meaning of perseverance. No matter what you decide to do with your future, this is the best place to start.

Cons

It's hard work, plain and simple. Take that as a con if you want to.

Great For Experience

09/22/2024 - Atlanta, GA

Pros

Great for experience for about two years, then you need to get out.

Cons

Too much micromanagement. Company still requires suit and tie which is strange.

Decent sales job

09/18/2024 - Minneapolis, MN

Pros

-Good pay opportunities -Autonomy -Good products

Cons

-Old school dress code. Must where a tie at the office.-Trying to grow very fast and goals aren’t always attainable

Why I Left Cintas: The Hard Truth You Need to Hear

09/13/2024 - Port Washington, NY

Pros

Supportive co-workers who genuinely want to help you grow within the company.

Cons

1.You only get 4 days off for the entire year—sick days and vacation combined! So if you take a vacation and get sick a few months later, tough luck for you. If you can’t come in, they will straight-up fire you. No exceptions.2.The work is brutal. You’re breaking your back every day, and those routes will wear you down fast so good luck to when you get older and can’t play with your kids. 3. Management acts like they care about you, but it’s all fake. The turnover rate is through the roof because people are either quitting or getting fired left and right. They do not care about you!

Very biased company

09/23/2024 - Port Washington, NY

Pros

Plenty of job titles available different departments

Cons

Very selective of who to put in what positions too much favoritism rather hire a person in no experience then promote within
