Pros
Great Clips offers career advancement opportunities. They have a 401k retirement plan you can sign up for. Great Clips also Offers health insurance. There’s also opportunities for continuing your hair education.
Cons
No set schedules, and schedules change frequently. Makes it hard to plan things.

Pros
Steve and Peggy own this location and they are the franchisees that you want to work for in this area, another bonus is having Ashlee as your area manager. This is the only company I have ever worked for that felt like they actually cared about me as a person. They grew me and guided me and I am so thankful for them.

Poor Pay, Poor Hours, Poor All Around

-Great for your first job.-Little to no experience required.-Some coworkers can be nice & helpful.

-Bare minimum you can legally be paid with.-Poor hours.-Drama-filled environment, Stylists will guilt you into giving them commission from customer purchases then get upset with you; amongst other things.-Management wants you to constantly look busy - if you need to sit from your feet aching you aren't allowed.-Filthy environment, break room was not a standard people should be expected to eat food in nor take bathroom breaks in.

They put alot into technical skills. Tons of classes avaliable for employees. Decent benefits.
Cons
No 401K untill you have been their 10 years. Very low pay considering how much work they ask of you. My bonuses used to be $200 a pay check and are now $40 a check however I'm doing more haircuts a hour.

Tips, some of your supplies provided. The Rialto CA location is a lot less stressful to work at than other locations, and the vibe is a lot more youthful.

The hours are a little unreasonable, most locations are open until 9pm and people come in with all of their kids at 8:59 and you still have to take them. You have to buy your own scissors and clippers. Certain locations have terrible managers and a lot of bullying
