Work is mainly easy. Management is not the greatest, but far from the worst. Pay is okay, hours are consistent.

Had to quit because a coworker was so consistently inappropriate and offensive as to be intolerable. And it was not a secret. Truly a bummer...

For the type of business/work I did for the company (cashier), the pay/benefits were reasonable. Seems to me that the way the company was run was very typical of large corporate entities. This one did a decent job for that kinda thing.
Cons
Regular corporate stuff (multiple people who are in charge, or think they're in charge, telling you conflicting things/rules), occasionally too many things to do without enough staff, etc... The regular nonsense. But not too bad. I had personal issues specific to this location that made it impossible for me to stay. Otherwise, I'd probably have stayed for quite a while...

Same day pay, best hourly wage for the job. Decent training, Good culture, profit sharing twice a year. Good insurance. Tuition reimbursement. Can always work more hours at other stores as they have a proprietary text alert for vacant shifts.
Cons
Corporate rules change frequently and are reactionary instead of proactive. Moving up within the company is more dependent on who likes you and less to do with qualifications and training
Not the "family" they claim to be.

They pay well and have all the benefits such as excellent affordable health insurance, 401 K profit sharing bonus potential and bonus potential depending on your store and metrics, of course. JFS bought out the store I was running along with 5 others in the area...definitely wasn't a pro for me.
Cons
Watch who you talk to at work. Especially the higher ups including your direct DM and anyone they have in the que for next DM. When your DM suddenly wants the MIT in your store be aware that you are being targeted for termination. Also once your in a store they try to keep you there when you want to move up.

Fast paced environment, flexibility being able to cover shifts at any store, night shift differential, profit share, employee discount on food and gas, free refills, tuition reimbursement.
Cons
Rude customers, inconsistent scheduling, low hours during winter months, no lunch break, inconsistent bathroom breaks, double shifts and being forced to cover are common, unreliable co workers are rarely fired, leaving the responsibility to cover shifts on whoever is working currently.
