1. Bad management.2. Promoted bad managers and directors to steal work from other teams.The company overhired and initiated many redundant projects as a result of poor management. Most were eventually shelved due to budget cuts, and the remaining work has been offshored. Software and data engineering teams in the U.S. are now largely limited to managing offshore teams and may face elimination in the next round of layoffs.
