Good company reputation and strong resources for market research

Pros

Internal database is extremely useful for updated market data. Internal brokers are generally willing to help and provide insight on real-time investor demands.

Cons

Leadership is not on the same page and there has been high turnover the past 2 years.

Good Company but Needs Truly Invested Leadership

02/19/2025 - Chicago, IL

Pros

Great benefits as a company.Work-life balance was fair.Occasional social event.Diversity and Inclusion.Touchbase meetings with direct supervisors, good in theory but sadly you'll realize nothing comes from them.Opportunities to climb the ladder, however it comes with a lot of self pats on the back. (Fine if that's your thing, just not mine.)

Cons

- Constant pivot in company direction. Every couple of months there would be a revelation from management to completely change how the company would operate. (New PM software, new organization tool, new forms to fill out, etc). Nothing would stick, and it gets tossed into the abyss on sharepoint.- Reporting overload. Most days were spent attending multiple meetings about the same project, discussing the same items, then issuing numerous versions of the the same meeting minutes and agendas. No time to actually work, or learn, or develop as a professional.- There was constant infighting between regions on claiming revenue and splitting of scope. This then created rifts, and wasted time for everyone.- Speaking with employees from previous years, bonuses used to be substantially larger and truly performance based. During my time there, I learned performance reviews (which impact your bonus %) changed to a having a pre-set limit on the number of favorable reviews given out. This really took the wind out of your sail. Try all you want, you'll only receive a Meets Expectations or whatever the standard review response is, anything higher is reserved for management.- There was such a thing as Christmas parties. - Over the top Company pride and family atmosphere facade.

02/21/2025 - Washington, DC

Pros

Flexible time off401k matchingWell connected

Cons

Limited insurance optionspaid parking

Loyalty

02/22/2025 - Cincinnati, OH

Pros

Large variety of channels to work (client accounts, platform, verticals) means you can move around without changing employers.

Cons

Job loyalty doesn't seem to mean much these days. Lots of folks moving to competitors - which might include me. Even with a long track record of great performance scores, I'm facing the end of my career with this company in a month if I don't find another position. The tenure and the track record aren't helping at all.
