easy to get hired, fun crowd of people shop inside, most coworkers kind, generous, and funny. always something funny going on. there is a union that cares about you.

#1. ridiculous cycle of rotating management. ex: my manger was hired, fired, rehired, and then quit. #2. employers don't know how to manage/instruct/handle employees with serious special needs. If adult Safeway employee with autism repeatedly acts inappropriately (with underage staff member) there will be no repercussions or confidentiality.

None that I can really think of to be honest

1. You are at a big disadvantage if you cannot speak Spanish. The team are all Spanish speakers, a guy that trained me could barely speak english 2. Unfriendly coworkers; they don't try to get to know you personally at all and always give a cold shoulder. Also rude, condescending, and awful communicators. They are also big hypocrites, they advocate for food safety, yet they don't follow food safety protocols either - no gloves, no hairnets, they don't ask you to wear non slip shoes.3. Some customers are very mean, entitled and rude. But this is mountain view so that's pretty expected.
