Pros

Cons

Lots of meetings. Merit raises are percentage based with the max being 2%.Job security can be iffy, since your position within the company is not guaranteed if they sell the CBO they hired you for...

I can't think of any negatives.

Eh, maybe the grass isn't greener but something smells

08/23/2025 - Greensboro, NC

Pros

Friendly staff, decent schedule, no call, nights, or weekends. Paid holiday.

Cons

Poor management due to playing favorites, lack of instruments and equipment, no room for growth, poor pay scale.

Horrible

08/25/2025 - null

Pros

None this is a horrible company

Cons

They underpay all the employees

Run

01/08/2026 - null

Pros

Remote work is the only positive.

Cons

Literally everything else. The pay is laughable. In 2025 they sent an email about profits while simultaneously sending no holiday gift, bonus or extra PTO. The highest level of management receives bloated bonuses while average employees live on poverty wages. They do not value their employees, their version of "employee appreciation" is sending low quality swag with their logo plastered all over it. There is constant upper management turnover, perpetual system issues and a serious lack of communication. If you have a choice to work somewhere else take it, working for SCA should be a last resort.

Good Job

01/28/2026 - Birmingham, AL

Pros

Cons

Same as any other typical corporate work life

An 'ok' company

01/07/2026 - Niagara Falls, NY

Pros

Pay is decent for the job,

Cons

Benefits are not great, very expensive

Avoid the marketing team

12/20/2025 - null

Pros

The marketing team has some great specialists.

Cons

The leadership at the director level is incredibly poor. It seems like they don’t value the direction that the VP of the team is giving. I was constantly confused about the priorities given from directors. It came off like the directors wanted to serve their own interests.

Pool employees not valued.

12/13/2025 - Hackettstown, NJ

Pros

M-F. No weekends or holidays.

Cons

Pool employees treated like garbage. Our opinions don't count in employee satisfaction surveys. Excluded from bonuses. Frequently canceled in less than 24 hours of scheduled shift.

Good place

11/11/2025 - Birmingham, AL

Pros

Good career growth opportunities throughout org

Cons

Consistent leadership turnover and high workload

Decent pay and flexible management, but high burnout risk

04/16/2026 - null

Pros

Flexible upper managementDecent payGreat place to start out as a young professional attempting to learn about the healthcare industry.Possible exposure to very diverse companies with all the companies that fall under UHG/ Optum

Cons

The management is a bit clueless. Most are Samford grads who hire Samford grads (if you are a Samford grad come work here they will love you immediately). There are many employees being hired in mid level and upper level management who have no experience in healthcare or healthcare administration. The pay is honestly below market average.Parent company will very soon own and dictate operations. The workforce is very lean and if you are not careful you will burnout under the heavy workload. It’s not the worst situation I’ve ever been in but it is pretty bad.

Great remote Job

03/02/2026 - Dallas, TX

Pros

This is a remote position with optional office space whenever you want. The community is amazing and loves to see you grow.Great training and worth ethics

Cons

Sometimes you can be left unanswered for quite some time from the higher ups.
