Large corporation with the opportunity to make a great salary- if you're a hard working sales person. Decent benefits and time off. I really like what I do and am told I'm good at what I do, I just wish the pay would reflect this.
Cons
The work atmosphere can sometimes be frustrating. Trying to accomplish everything that has to be done at the same time as trying to fix issues and "you should know how to do this" problems can get old, quickly. The biggest problems I see is a huge company constantly acquiring new locations, yet won't put money back into the current ones. It's easy to start looking run down when you won't reinvest in your people and places.

If you were in an affluent area you could make a decent living

I was not in an affluent area. Worked for the company for 5 years and saw 50+ counsellors were trained at my location and walk thru the door to other occupations. Recruiters would tell them you could earn 60-70K per year and they would earn minimum wage the first 6 months and they would be gone

You must be perfect in paperwork, you will get overworked, burnt out, management only cares about money and surveys, and if you get in trouble they do not properly handle anything.

Benefits, friendly co-workers, rewarding helping families, easy to get hired as they are constantly hiring

Minimum wage or commission if you hit your pace setter. Problem is sales are going down and pacesetter is going up which makes it harder to make a living wage here. Unqualified Managers fall in line with corporate management which means they do not help their employees nor are they advocates for their employees. As an employee you literally have nobody to stand up for you. Poor HR. And they continue to hire more employees which turns us into a minimum wage job.
