large-company bureaucracy can make decisions slow; priorities can change when leadership changes; matrixed structures can create unclear ownership; some roles require a lot of meetings and alignment before action happens; workload can spike during major transformations or reorganizations; field and corporate teams can sometimes have competing priorities; and experiences can vary a lot depending on the manager, function, and operating company.
