Walmart Reviews

Meh

04/18/2025 - Dallas, TX

Pros

Exactly what you would expect working at Walmart to be like. Low stress, easy to learn, can be fun at times talking to customers and checking them out quickly so they can continue their day. Most everyone you work with is cool. You can usually find something to sweep or clean if no one is checking out, so time goes decently quickly.

Cons

Pay is not enough for more than a little gas money. Morale is low among associates. Also they make you use your personal cell phone to login to their app and watch the self check out registers with it and prevent “shrink”. Not appropriate. Hours suck also, evenings and weekends. Very little positive feedback.

Working at Walmart as a Personal Shopper was honestly one of the most stressful jobs I’ve had. The workload was nonstop, with constant pressure to meet unrealistic pick times. Management seemed more focused on the numbers than realistic standards.
