Pros

The work is easy and straight forwards, If you've been working in food service it's a pretty laid back job.

Cons

Many of my coworkers and I experience pay gaps and age discrimination. Maybe just varies on location.

Pros

Cons

Lack of support, lack of actual direction, people are entitled that have very little experience

No Transparency, No Transition, Just Gone

09/06/2025 - null

Pros

•The opportunity gave me exposure to high-level corporate environments and allowed me to take ownership over a wide array of responsibilities.•I was able to build strong relationships with employees and vendors, and take pride in delivering consistent, people-first service.•Day-to-day autonomy was respected by former direct managers who trusted employees to work independently and manage site-level challenges.

Cons

My position was gradually deconstructed without any formal offboarding, communication, or transparency from leadership. Key responsibilities were transferred to another vendor’s team quietly, while I was still employed and receiving no updates.•After years of consistent performance and working through medical challenges without accommodations, I was blindsided by sudden separation with no real acknowledgment of the circumstances or service I provided.•Colleagues were quietly transitioned into new roles while I was left in limbo, only to be formally let go weeks later with no clear explanation.•Communication from leadership was evasive at best, especially when it came to the direction of the program or the future of team members.

Fantastic Company

09/09/2025 - Dallas, TX

Pros

Tons of resources, very collaborative environment

Cons

Don’t really have any cons, to be honest.

Run by man children like a bad fraternity

09/20/2025 - New York, NY

Pros

Having some sort of set schedule.

Cons

The whole company is a con. They RFP to get contracts, agree on some ridiculous budget and a bunch of promises. Next they put a Chefand manager into a unit to try to reach the unattainable budget, labor, and expect you to put out world class food with rent a bums. It’s a joke. What job says you must work 10 hrs a day? My favorite part is when a district manager comes and sets their laptop up in your workspace. Losers. The whole company is full of easily managed old dudes who washed out of restaurant and actual foodservice years ago. The top guys just give themselves raises and new titles each year. Also a new tanning bed each year for the big boss. Full of nepotism hires. They all talk crap about everyone. I hate Flik

Not great

08/06/2025 - New York, NY

Pros

Flexible schedule, good benefits, nice people

Cons

Poor management, overworked, they don’t pay sufficient for all the things that are done.

Empty Promises and quick to cut positions

08/27/2025 - Frisco, TX

Pros

Working with excellent lower level team members. Working with clients who are usually appreciative.

Cons

Lots of problems with upper management. Whisper meetings, talking about leaders with other leaders, and very unprofessional.

Horrible Company

08/04/2025 - Rye Brook, NY

Pros

Allowed remote work at the time

Cons

Just a horribly run, hyper "corporate" environment. Not a good place to learn.

Awful

08/13/2025 - Deerfield, MA

Pros

I can’t think of anything positive to say and I am usually fairly positive.

Cons

Management they don’t care about their employees. They change your schedule to try and get you to quit. They change your job title so you hate your work. They don’t care about their employees community or their local farms. They only order from their suppliers to make more money for themselves. All while the schools they serve take a big cost hit. Because the smaller schools may only need a small amount of a product. They have to buy the whole case. They play favorites. I worked six days a week for pretty much a whole school year to provide a nutritious salad bar. They are trying to land a contract and then, they lay me off for the summer and change my schedule to nights when I have to work two jobs to survive. My other job was scheduled around my hours at Flik/Bement school now I have to quit my other job. They are the devils people for real, because nobody with any sort of heart would be so cruel.ARAMARK is a cooperate company and they treat their employees with respect the only reason I left them was for a full time job.

Run as far as you can
