Worse place to work especially if you are an African American they discriminate and retaliate if you report them, The Kitchen don't match the lounge they never had the right management anyone can work there with no experience no one is serv safe certified, if the customers saw the Kitchem they probably wouldn't want to eat there considering how much money they pay.

Emphasis on safety. Free meals, snacks, and beverages. Clean environment. Some friendly co-workers. Clients were very nice and appreciative. Consistent schedule. Weekends off. Some paid holidays.
Cons
Limited PTO for first 2 years. Pay could be better. Some challenging people to work with. A lot of work can be put on you. Some things take longer due to the corporate environment and several departments to go through such as HR and Tech. Sometimes people make decisions about you that are not on-site.

Staffing challenges were a consistent issue that affected day-to-day operations. While concerns were communicated to management, there was a lack of action and support to address them. More investment in staffing and employee support would greatly improve the workplace experience. I would not recommend this workplace.

If you’ve ever worked in a restaurant you understand having a sense of urgency, the ability to communicate clearly with your managers and coworkers, and what it’s like to be motivated to serve guests your all. This is not that. I was 21 when I was brought in to lead all pastry production with no training or onboarding. Throughout my time here it’s been nothing but a struggle trying to communicate with my chefs to get answers to questions or concerns about upcoming menus, ordering, broken equipment, and the culture within the kitchen. At one point I was promised a promotion, or to at least be put through FLIK’s manager in training program, but after finding that my chefs didn’t really care to follow through, it’s made working here miserable. It’s like having an office job, but you stand and move around all day instead of sitting at a desk. If you are new to the pastry world, don’t join FLIK. The money is good, but the experience you can get somewhere else will be much more valuable.

Great experiences with great people. Have learned a lot and have gotten to see a lot of cool places and eat great food.
Cons
A lot of pressure on DMs and corporate workers, really everyone but sometimes it’s hard to get the support that you need because other avenues are busy. Also I feel like Flik should cover more than relying on clients to foot all of the bill when it comes to development opportunities.
