Was training new employees at the same time as running a department, always had unrealistic expectations and insane levels of work, was expected to do work off the clock everyday, was forced to have split days off because upper management didn’t want me away from my department for more than one day

Just like every other modern corporation, it's capitalism. This one is really good with making you feel like your job is great yet, can't promise hours that will allow you to thrive.

Honestly, the only "pro" I would offer is that when our particular Store Manager left for the day, we would get "familiar" with each other. Of course, not everyone felt comfortable participating in the "After Hours" activities - and that was OK. Everyone knew the offer was always on the table.
Cons
Sub par pay. It is extremely hard to get benefits (something they will never mention). An employee must work over 30 hours weekly to qualify for benefits. They take hours worked and divide it by 12 (quarterly). If management sees that you are close to approaching the 30 hour average, look for a MAJOR cut in your time. They do not want to be on the hook for benefits and will take all steps necessary to make sure that doesn't happen. The "Management" is terrible and if you are not a "favorite" you can look at another time cut. They are way over the DEI line, but hopefully that will end soon. If the grocery game is something you think you might like, (when your medication runs out), Sprouts is just as good as any other.
