Large corporate company, uninspiring culture. $1.4B in profits and only offered a 2.5% annual raise. They say it's a good company that promotes within, I have found internal recruiters to be unresponsive when looking for new opportunities. Also, no one internally can assist with healthcare insurance questions, it's all outsourced to people that can't answer Aramark specific questions. Worst healthcare onboarding experience ever.

As a supervisor here, you get the opportunity to be present for a ton of sporting events and concerts and get paid while being there
Cons
The management tends to cut employee hours without warning, there’s no room for advancement; they’re only hiring from outside of the company. Lastly, supervisors do not stay here for lengthy periods as a result of the workload being dumped on them by the lazy managers.

Freedom to do your job without being micromanaged. Working fun events.

Writing up bartenders with no consequence to them. ACS is hired to keep TABC guidelines in place. General manager tells ACS their job is to be a deterrent and not to write up bartenders. Several bartenders have been caught stealing liquor, taking cash payment, overpouring, overserving, and serving beyond cut off time. Management does nothing.

Our RDM and DO are both amazing. They’re flexible given the fact I have young children at home. At 5 years, I’m earning enough PTO and Vacation that I have a big chunk of the summer off if you play it right with holiday pay

Pros
Aramark contracts with Atrium Health facilities. They are only contracted for management and staff actually is employed by Atrium. This arrangement allows for very good pay for the EVS techs, which makes my job much easier having staff paid a good wage for their work. Aramark Healthcare+ is great. Treats all levels of leadership very well. Decent benefits, PTO and vacation, yearly bonuses.

They neglected several positions on campus (such as mine) while placing students in areas already overstaffed. Applying for any position within Aramark is a nightmare because there seemed to always be issues with their online systems. Higher-ups would often come in undercover to complain to my managers (not Aramark) about students over trivial matters. They also enforced an all black dress code even if we were working outside on a very hot day.
