Flexible student job with kind management, but late shifts

Pros
Flexible work that took into account my schedule as a student, and is on campus. I could work as little as 5 hours a week and as many as 20. The managers and shift lead I worked with were also kind. The job paid about $3-4/hr more than other on-campus jobs because it's an outside company
Cons
Shifts for students tend to end between 9:30 and 10 at night, and the job tends to fluctuate between extremely busy and very boring.

Very laid back work culture. Great place to be for people with zero to no ambition.Once in a while you get free lunch.

Salaries are low. When you ask for raise they make you work harder promising promotion and later knit picks on low priority things to not give you what you deserve.I feel management is a bit racist and a lot of favouritism. If you are in good books of few people you will grow, if you in okay or bad books, they won’t let you live.Again there is no scope of growth unless someone retires. People are there to pretend working, relax and chit chat.With my manager, I would have to redo a single report so many times that it would make me tired and in the end it would all be for nothing. So I am guessing no one is working for any goal.

Despite the hype, the company doesn't care about it's people. Upper management lacks ethics and morality. HR investigations go nowhere. Severance packages are shameful.

New Aramark VP and executives at my former job didn't care about what the Managers thought. Aramark took over at my former job location, the new Aramark VP slashed all the salaries and hourly wages, told all the Managers that they have to work 10-12 hour days, and anything less is unacceptable. We were hired over from our former company and Aramark said we'd been able to sign up for insurance on the first day of work. It's now been close to 2 months and still no insurance. The new VP told me and other Managers that our opinions don't matter,
