No support from leadership, corporate mentality when dealing with people's lives, residents paid an arm and a leg and our hands were tied with what we could do for them.

Poor pay for line staff, money hungry company, constantly pushing 10% rate increases to the residents, but not increasing the hardest working staff pay to align.

Residents are amazing, never a boring shift, very nice facility
Cons
team dynamic can be iffy/unreliable, things are always being misplaced or stolen, food given to residents is not the healthiest especially for memory care. Too many burgers/hot dogs for people that can barely feed themselves or have teeth.

-Lots of interesting, varied activities to do with residents-Building relationships with a sometimes forgotten demographic-Learning wisdom & life lessons from those who've been there - really!

-Strict management style with fingerprint time clock, very rigid schedule-Holidays aren't usually given off - when you need to run events!-Can be sad to work with elderly at times, and have to bring energy yourself
