Was promised position as cook, started training and was given cook uniform. Then GM revoked my position and moved me back to server.

Flexible schedule when I started, but not currently
Cons
Schedule doesn’t come out until the day before it starts at times. They keep most employees just below full time so that they don’t have to give benefits. Employees are guilt tripped into coming in when they’re sick. Managers are incompetent and lower employees are forced to train their managers. Also just found out that the newest manager is on the sex offender registry. We used to be a scratch kitchen but now everything comes in frozen or premade, and they’re not being upfront with the customers about these changes.

I was a beginner server and was able to be properly trained and gained tools that I will use in the future. It was also consistently busy and fast paced.
Cons
Long shifts, Large staff, Customers can be very demanding and in a rush and kitchen allows all modifications which can be very time consuming
