It was so good 5-20 years ago. Almost No pro’s anymore. Getting a paycheck would be one.Vacation/sick time was decent

Salary was low, made a big jump by leaving.Benefits keep getting worse and costlier by the day.Annual raises are so low you lose money each year by staying.Career advancement is nearly impossible or you get promoted with no pay increase.Layoffs used to be very uncommon, now they happen in big and wuiet waves.Work-life balance is suffering as they are moving toward more in-office work and hearing 5 days could be coming soon just to sit on teams calls all day and pay for parking, sit in traffic. You are making your employees lives worse for no gain.
