Very very flexible, my store lets us switch to being pick up only if you choose you no longer want to be regularly scheduled. Most days requested off get approved.

Coworkers and management can and is very shady, no free food other than fresh baked bread…Costumers tend to be very rude, and don’t always tip. (Very common or tip less than 15%)There is a tip out at the end of each shift based on your sales (not how much you actually made) which can screw you over if you get tables that don’t tip or barely tip.

the environment’s kinda fun, and fast paced. and your coworkers are fun, too

this job made me realize i hate the tipping industry. kissing booty for maybe $5-$10/table in tips is ridiculous. maybe a little more if you’re truly lucky. the hours are long, and you have to work 10+ hrs every weekend to really make a dent in your income. no sitting breaks, i felt horrible for all the pregnant women. all that, and the company is only required to pay you $5/hr. insane.
