If you can get the hours the money is good.

They will schedule you out of your availability on short notice around holidays or when short staffed.No clear communication between management and staff you will find out from coworkers that a new menu has rolled out, food items unavailable, standards and practices have been changed.Management and Corporate ONLY care about the bottom line. They will ask you to do extra duties not in your job code consistently and without additional compensation. This is especially the case when people call out, quit unexpectedly, or just don't show. They want you to be a team player when it benefits them but let your child get sick or a family member die and suddenly that's not a valid excuse to not be able to work.

We used to have a great team and excellent work culture, but lots of turnover in management at both the corporate and local level means inconsistency in direction to staff in both BOH and FOH. It feels like management is more concerned about staff wearing black socks and doing quizzes than about ticket times and guest satisfaction. We were already understaffed in the kitchen, but they cut hours to the point that it ran off the staff we did have. On top of that, we went from 7 servers on a Friday to 13, “to improve service.” But all that did was overload an already struggling kitchen. It makes every shift stressful because you go in knowing your tables won’t have a great experience. Bartenders aren’t allowed to take tables, but take out staff are. Obviously that’s going to cause friction.

The pay was GOOD. There were some weekends I would make like $800. The computers were always fully functional with little to no glitches. The staff was good and supportive

The management team was definitely sup par. They don't have your back, they don't protect you from hostility, and HR is a complete a total joke.

Management could be improved, some locations are better than others. Bartenders have way too much work compared to servers to make less money.

Flexible scheduling, can make upwards of $300 on a busy day. Have become friends with many of my coworkers.
Cons
Company is always cutting labor, leaving everyone overworked. Management is constantly changing and some managers have little to no restaurant experience. Employee turnover is very high. Generally very low standards throughout the restaurant.
