Sea Mar Community Health Centers Reviews

Upper Management Not the best

01/20/2026 - Seattle, WA

Pros

- The people and the Manager of HR.- The type of work.

Cons

- Upper management always placed blame on HR.- Upper management didn't know anything about HR.- Upper management never made anyone feel valued.- Upper management was/is incompetent and there's a reason so many people left.

Pros and Cons

11/05/2025 - Seattle, WA

Pros

Salary and Benefits are agreeable. Office is not bad; office culture is positive. Healthy CME support. Exposure to complicated cases promotes professional growth. Clinic and Regional level leadership were available, & supportive.

Cons

Patient acuity level is high which makes work a challenge, but that can also be good if you like figuring out underlying problems. Ancillary staff is a mixed bag; those that stay are dedicated, but some positions have been open for months (hiring is a challenge); unfilled support staff positions can put additional pressure on providers. Exposure to constant moral injury from trying to help under-priviledged people in a health care system that only provides for the bare minimum and coping with daily frustration and limitations (but that is a reflection serving this patient population and not specifically related to this organization).

Health education

03/17/2025 - Bellevue, WA

Pros

Great health insurance, very rewarding experience working as a health educator.

Cons

Compensation is not the most equitable considering the cost of living in Bellevue Washington area.

Unorganized Low-Ballers

11/01/2024 - Seattle, WA

Pros

Behaviorial/mental health support, minority based non-profit

Cons

Flexible but Undefined: It operates across sectors with flexibility, though the lack of concrete policy may lead to inconsistencies or unclear expectations.Frugal with Salary Standards: Known for offering lower wages, the company emphasizes budget-consciousness over competitive compensation.

Pros

Great co workers. Great health insurance. Decent pay. Union if you're a therapist. Some WFH days!

Cons

Upper management does not make decisions that are for the benefit of the team. Pay could be more. Feels like you're a cog in their system being told what to do... They do overwork you. VERY large caseloads. No flexibility in schedule.

Not for everyone

01/10/2025 - Bellevue, WA

Pros

If you receive healthcare through a Sea Mar provider most services and medications are covered at 100% through the company insurance. The team an Bellevue Child & Family is very positive and supportive of one another,

Cons

Many sites only have one receptionist, so be prepared to be working completely alone, handling incoming calls for all 6 King county sites through a shared phone system. Other sites do not want you to schedule their clients, so you will be taking messages and notifying staff members at other sites of their clients needs. This causes a lot of frustration for the clients calling in attempting to do something as simple as making another appointment with their therapist. Training is also a joke. After 3 years with the company, I have been self taught through choosing to watch/read additional training documents to learn the proper ways to do things. New hire training basically covers how to log into Epic, you might get lucky with an instructor that shows you how to do a few things and then you are on your own from there.
